I dont' know about the websites but I'm at the moment reading 'The History Of Islam' by Maulana Akbar Shah Khan Najeebabadi, it covers everything you wish to know and much much more...and its very detailed too, with maps and stuff etc.. Maulana is a Indian freedom fighter and a scholar who graduated from Darul Uloom Deoband, U. P., India. The book was published in the year 1923 or so, you can even get an english translation of it, translated by 'Atiqur Rehmaan Uganwi' , there is one more version of the same book translated and revised by 'Safi Ur Rehmaan Al-Mubarakpuri' - please do not but this version, it ain't' good, the original one (of-course) was written in urdu.

There is one more book on the same subject, titled 'The History Of Islam' written by Prof. Masudul Hasan, again, I don't' recommend it because it ain't' very detailed, if you know urdu you could read many such books on the same subject, sadly many of them arent' translated into major languages. Go with Mr. Uganwi's version.
